Yesterday, Rasan organized a workshop on the LGBT+ community at the American American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS), the workshop was regarding the law, biological and psychological aspects of homosexuality. At the end of the workshop, all the participants, except for one person, said that they supported LGBT+ rights, while most of them were neutral on the subject before the workshop. Of course, the people who decide to stand against LGBT+ rights might have misunderstood the community and with a little education, they might change their opinion!
