Project period: July 1st 2016 – September 30th 2016
Providing protection and assistance for woman and girls refugees, IDPs and host communities in Sulaimanyah governorate, the project duration was for three months.
60 women had access to direct service of education by Rasan for English Kurdish and Arabic courses each 20 participants. And those 60 women had also increased access to protection, education and assistance services achieved through awareness on available services for refugees, IDPs and host communities, including Rasan’s services.
750 women and girls have received information on GBV services offered by Rasan and received legal psychosocial or social assistance and/or referral to medical services.
GBV being addressed appropriately in the community through community forums resulting in improving response and prevention mechanisms , community forms of 50% female and 50% male were established to received support to develop and implement community GBV action plans for 1500 indirect beneficiaries
